Bring your own drinking water and a rubbish bag, since the park provides neither. Wear sturdy, ankle-supporting closed shoes to handle slippery tracks, and pack a raincoat and warm layer. The 525-meter elevation keeps the plateau noticeably cooler than the coast, averaging 17°C in winter.
